What a moving company does in an Arizona sale
Moving companies pack, load, transport, and unload your household: local moves priced by crew and hours, long-distance moves priced by weight and mileage, with packing services and short-term storage as the common add-ons. Legitimate movers are licensed: interstate movers hold federal DOT authority you can look up, and Arizona movers operate under state rules.
What to ask AZ Brothers Moving before you hire
- Interstate: DOT number verifiable at the FMCSA's mover search; local: established Arizona presence with a real address
- Written binding or not-to-exceed estimate after a video or in-person survey, never a phone guess
- Valuation coverage explained: released value versus full-value protection
- Deposit norms that are modest; giant upfront deposits are the scam's signature
- Reviews spanning years, and a claims process they can describe before you ask
What moving companies typically cost in Arizona
Typical ballparks: local Valley moves commonly run several hundred to around $1,500 depending on size and crew hours; long-distance interstate moves commonly run from a few thousand dollars up, driven by weight and distance; packing service and storage add more. Summer and month-end dates price highest; book two to four weeks ahead when you can.
