About Moon Valley Nurseries
Phoenix-founded tree nursery and landscape company supplying mature trees, privacy hedges and palms with design and installation services across the Valley.
What a landscaper does in an Arizona sale
Landscapers handle the outside of the sale: one-time listing-prep cleanups (weeds, trimming, gravel refresh, irrigation check), ongoing maintenance while the home is on market, and larger projects like tree work or converting thirsty turf to desert landscaping.
What to ask Moon Valley Nurseries before you hire
- Licensed for any work beyond maintenance (Arizona ROC licensing applies to contracting work)
- Desert plant knowledge: pruning a saguaro-adjacent yard is not mowing a lawn
- Irrigation competence, since drip systems are half of Valley landscaping
- A defined listing-prep package with before-photos timing
- Cleanup haul-away included in the quote
What landscapers typically cost in Arizona
Typical Arizona ballparks: a one-time listing cleanup commonly runs a few hundred dollars, from around $200 for light work to $800 or more for an overgrown yard with hauling. Ongoing maintenance often runs $60 to $150 per visit or month depending on scope. Tree work is its own trade and prices by the tree.
