ClozeEZ's guide to Verrado, Buckeye: Verrado is an 8,800-acre community in Buckeye built at the eastern base of the White Tank Mountains, about 25 miles west of downtown Phoenix. 603 Buckeye homes are for sale on ClozeEZ today.

Verrado Way runs north from the I-10 interchange at Exit 120 as the community's spine, and the land climbs as it goes north; the golf club terrain sits roughly 1,200 feet above the valley floor, with granite bluffs and desert washes running through the northern neighborhoods.

The land belonged to Caterpillar, which partnered with DMB Associates in the mid-1990s to plan a town rather than a subdivision. The first homes were completed in 2004, and DMB remains the master developer more than two decades later. Verrado is built on New Urbanist principles: front porches, tree-lined streets, rear alley-loaded garages, and a genuine Main Street with a town square, the Village Green. Styles run to Craftsman bungalows, Western farmhouses, and ranch haciendas across roughly 14,000 entitled homes.

Districts include Main Street, Heritage, the age-restricted Victory at Verrado, and the Marketside commercial district. Community open space is unusual in scale: 77 parks and 20-plus miles of paths and desert trails.
